ricardo played for brca at one time though i never got comfortable with the rest of the team and now plays for porto

(another thing about him is ......he too wears a earing on both ears.....just like our boy cristiano........i wonder if they both went to pierce their ears together to the shop??? hummmmmm)

UEFA have launched an investigation into claims that Belgium plan to deliberately injure Manchester United's Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo during the Euro 2008 qualifier on Saturday.
The Portuguese FA have made an official complaint to UEFA after a newspaper report quoted Belgium keeper Stijn Stijnen making threats against Ronaldo.
A UEFA spokesman said: "We will look into the alleged comments and ask the Belgian FA for their comments on the matter before we decide whether to open disciplinary proceedings."
Stijnen, who plays for FC Bruges, was quoted in the Gazet Van Antwerpen as saying: "After two minutes we will have to attack Ronaldo so much that he will have to leave the pitch."
The goalkeeper has since denied making the remarks.
The Belgian FA have no plans to drop Stijnen from the squad for Saturday's Group A qualifier in Lisbon.

Estação do Oriente
Estação do Oriente (Orient Station) is one of the main transportation hubs of Lisbon, for trains, metro, buses and taxis. this is a photograph of a scene in lisbon. portugal has been in the news lately for the abortion vote. before the vote, abortion was illegal in portugal in many of the situations it would have been legal in other countries. the results of the vote were yes to abortion however officials say people do not want to kill a young life but make the millions of illegal abortions performed in backstreets stop and make these abortions available in hospitals nationwide. the government/parliament will now vote and the decision will be taken there after. every year portugal has 50,ooo less births than needed and the counrty is mostly catholic and this is why the subject has taken so long to be cleared and discesed in this way
